Free Software Makes Fancy Touch Panel Buttons

Guifx today announced the release of Logo Tools software for making fancy favorites buttons for touch panel control systems. The software is in beta release and is currently available as a free download exclusively through Guifx at www.guifx.com.

“Touch panels are a big investment and one of the few pieces of an installation that an end user actually sees and interacts with,” says Morgan Strauss, Guifx Director of Marketing. “Logo Tools is an affordable way for everyone to raise the bar and produce a quality finish.”

Logo Tools comes with a complete collection of network logos. The software’s color blending algorithms give it the capability to combine the included network logos with any style button. The trick is getting a logo with light and dark features to appear clear on both light and dark style buttons, but Logo Tools seems to always produce amazing results. The beta software includes two glossy button styles.

Hollywood-Style Graphics on Touch Panels Command a “WOW” Reaction

Guifx today announced the release of The Cockpit – a new template for Crestron touch panels. The Cockpit’s modular design and open format keep it highly customizable and configurable, while Hollywood-style, photo-realistic graphics command a “WOW” reaction. The Cockpit is available exclusively through Guifx at www.guifx.com.

“We are always looking to raise the bar in terms of aesthetics, ease of use, and customization,” says Morgan Strauss, Guifx Director of Multimedia. “It’s a 3-dimensional balancing act to get a design to incorporate the best of all three. The Cockpit has not only raised the bar… I think we may even have skipped a notch or two.”

“I knew we had something new and innovative here,” continued Strauss, “but I didn’t realize how great it really is until I demonstrated The Cockpit to a focus group. The energy and excitement in that room was through the roof. They couldn’t wait to get their hands on it!”

Sitting in front of The Cockpit is a “WOW” experience. Your mouth opens wide and your eyes freeze. In a blink, you’re grinning from ear to ear. The interface has flash but is intuitive – and the high quality graphics grab you, draw you in, and keep you fired up.

Guifx Launches Developer Partner Program

Guifx has announced the availability of hundreds of new touch panel templates for Crestron, Universal Remote, Philips, and AMX touch panels through the new Guifx Developer Partner Program.

Leading designers Noel Blackman of Guiwerx, Aaron Craig of NTDesigns, and Tom Molstad of GUI-STOP have joined forces with the Guifx in-house design team to provide the largest selection of professionally designed touch panel templates available anywhere.

These new designs are available exclusively through Guifx at www.guifx.com. To make it easier than ever to browse, shop, and manage templates, Guifx has completely rebuilt its Web site. The improved site allows you to browse templates by panel, resolution, and designer, or to search using keywords. Online accounts track order history and serial numbers, and provide access to product downloads and updates.

To protect the intellectual property of the Developer partners, Guifx uses a proprietary serialization algorithm and digital rights management that are unobtrusive to customers and end-users. Support for Developer partner products is provided by Guifx with toll-free and 24/7 e-mail support.
