New Blog Section “Insider”

There’s a lot going on behind the scenes here at Guifx. So, we decided to create an outlet for all of our employees to share anything interesting with you that they might be working on (be it graphics, code, or just ideas), no matter how rough or unfinished.

So, welcome to the “inside” of Guifx. Please, don’t mind the mess.

   I am always very interested in hearing what you guys are working on, especially when it involves RTI. I really like what you have done over the short term - I use Co-Pilot almost daily and am a big fan of it. When it comes to ways of improving it I have nothing. However, just some wish list items I would like to present you with:

   - More , More , More RTI templates and designs

   - Pronto TSU9400 & 9600 configurations ( I realize the graphics can be very accessible by the user so possibly charge by the configuration type or keep it simple to reduce costs)

   - A few more voice sound effects which include some more commands geared towards multizone setups.

   Thanks for the feedback Vincent, rest assured more RTI is definitely on the way. Updates to our User Interface Sounds are also in the works. Pronto is something we’re thinking about bringing back, but honestly we just haven’t heard from many people interested in Pronto templates. There has to be significant interest to make it worthwhile for us to build for Pronto.

   Love your templates, but need a few more of:
   1.) Clearly need more AMX templates, especially for the 8400. Ones like Tungsten, Lucent, daVinci, and Heritage for the Crestron would be fantastic to have for AMX.
   2.) I would be interested also in TSU9600 templates, but I also acknowledge the issues.

   Thanks for your comments Alan. I am proud to report that you will begin to see new AMX product start to show up in our store this month (June ‘08). Great to hear that you are also interested in Pronto. We’d love to build for that platform, so we’re hoping people keep requesting it. Thanks again for taking the time to comment. It’s a huge help.
