We are always updating our software to meet the needs of our beloved touch panel designers. Today we’d like to introduce you to our latest software endeavor, CoPilot.
CoPilot is a software suite that encompasses all the touch-panel design solutions we’ve pioneered and improved on since 2002. Inside CoPilot you’ll find new versions of the tools you’ve grown familiar with and more.
Logo Tools version 2.0 boasts several user interface improvements. As always, it is the preferred tool to dynamically transform any collection of logos into beautifully styled interface buttons.
Koloroo is now baked right into CoPilot. Interactively browse over 100 million color schemes using our award winning Color Brain Technology.
Image Resizer (formerly Icon Tools), has been improved to quickly batch resize, or thumbnail, any collection of images to a size appropriate for any project. The output image size can be previewed in real-time using either fixed width or percentage inputs.
Background Maker is a completely new product that can be used to quickly crop and resize any digital image to the correct size required to be the background image on a touch panel. An interactive masking area and built-in presets of standard touch-panel resolutions help eliminate what could take hours of trial and error in expensive, more complex image editing software.

One of the best features of CoPilot is automatic updates. We’ve eliminated the need to manually check for software and Network Logo updates. Every time you load CoPilot it’ll check that you’re running the latest version and update itself. Simple, eh?
For more details including software descriptions and video tutorials, check out CoPilot here.
Guifx and RTI are at it again. If you weren’t already aware, our Aero Icon Set was licensed by RTI for their Integration Designer software. The only problem has been that Aero gets updated on a different schedule than Integration Designer releases. Solution? We’re making free updates available immediately right here on our web site with a downloadable patch.

The free Aero RTI Bitmap Library overwrites the version included with Integration Designer titled Universal Source Icons 2. It currently includes many additional icons and even more updates are around the corner.
The update requires that Integration Designer is currently installed and includes icons in the standard 72×72, 112×112, and 152×152 pixel resolutions.
NOTE: The RTI Bitmap Library version of Aero works exclusively with RTI’s Integration Designer software.
Serene has just received a big update. New pages have been added which include presentation, teleconferencing, and video conferencing — perfect for commercial projects. Check the previews to see all the goodies. The design now also natively supports all Crestron panels including the TPS-6L and TPS-3000(L).
As always, these updates are available for free to existing customers, so log in to your Guifx account to download the most recent versions.
Do you want any additional page layouts for other features or devices? Be sure to tell us in the comments.
It’s a good day friends. We are proud to announce today an update to our Adaptation template design for the RTI hardware line. Due to popular demand, we’ve worked Adaptation over for RTI’s top selling hand-held touch device the T2-C.
Adaptation looks absolutely gorgeous on the T2-C (See!) and the workflow is everything you would expect from Guifx. This new version rings in at a total of 16 well thought-out pages for you to use and customize in your projects. From standard TV control to more complicated multi-zone functions, everything is here. But that’s not all! Adaptation for the T2-C also includes 9 beautiful backgrounds, blowing the value of this release out of the water. There’s something for everyone, check out these background styles: Digital, Gears, Leaves, Liquid Blue, Liquid Red, Mountain, Parchment, Space, and Sunflower.

Adaptation for RTI has been a huge success and we are thrilled with feedback you all send on it. For all the fans of RTI’s T3-V, sit tight, because that release is next in line.

It’s a big Friday for our RTI users. Specifically the T4 / K4 fans. Guifx announced this morning that their incredibly popular ‘Adaptation’ Graphic Set has been totally worked over into a gorgeous new RTI Template for use in the Integration Designer software.

For our customers, this new Adaptation design is so much more than just another RTI template release. It’s a beacon of excellence with regards to what Guifx template usability should be. Graphically, Adaptation has always been a proven design. But the amount of time that has gone into making sure Adaptation for RTI is easy to use and sensible for the end-user, is remarkable. We’re confident with what we’ve done here, and we know you’ll love it too.
So far, Adaptation for RTI is only available for the T4 and K4 hardware. But if you love it and can’t wait to have it on your other RTI devices, make sure you let us know. The squeaky wheel gets the grease folks!
Which RTI device would you like to see Adaptation designed for next? Leave us a comment!

Guifx Graphic Sets save time and end frustration for touch panel system designers. For touch panel system designers, the time consuming process of designing and configuring buttons creates a constant roadblock to efficiency. Software and graphic development firm, Guifx, today introduces the solution. A fully designed, pre-configured set of button graphics that are ready to be used in Crestron, RTI, and AMX design softwares. Guifx calls their latest graphic solution Graphic Sets, and they are available now at www.guifx.com.

Graphic Sets are available in a variety of styles and they are designed to be an effortless addition to any designers workflow. For Crestron and AMX users, Graphic Sets are clipboards that will open as project files in the respective designer software. RTI users will have Graphic Sets installed directly into Integration Designer ready for drag and drop use from their bitmap library. The Graphic Sets include more than fifty different button shapes and are designed to be used together sensibly. They are made to stack, align, and cluster, providing total versatility in screen layout. Each set also includes three cursor sizes. For users wanting even more graphical control, Photoshop documents with export instructions are also available.
“Pre-configured buttons are something we’ve been working on for quite some time,” said Joe Peduto, Director of Business Development for Guifx. “We knew from our own design efforts that handling buttons takes a significant amount of time. Graphic Sets are one of those perfect little gems born out of necessity. We use them on everything we do.”
446 new network logos bring ‘channel teleporting’ to home theaters.
Guifx, the software design firm that creates high quality graphics used in home electronics touch panel controllers hopes to advance ‘channel surfing’ into modern channel teleporting. They have introduced an updated version of one of their free downloadable packages, Network Logos. This graphic set includes the logos of every network on television, XM and Sirius satellite radio stations. There are currently 446 logos included in the set. These network logos can be made into touch activated buttons that function as shortcuts to favorite channels.

The updated logos are delivered at a higher resolution and quality and include many networks that weren’t available in the initial release. “When we first developed this line of graphics, we never would have imagined how channel line-ups would change, and we hadn’t addressed satellite radio at all,” says Joe Peduto, Director of Business Development. “We knew we had to make extensive updates to the logos in the set. We also wanted to serve the set in higher resolution, making the graphics functional for small and large touch panels. They really take home theater controllers to the next level.” The Network Logos set is used in conjunction with Guifx’s free Logo Tools software that transforms network graphics into buttons to be used on touch panels. Both are available as free downloads on the new Guifx website, www.guifx.com.
Guifx also designs templates compatible with RTI, Crestron and AMX touch panel controllers, along with design software Color Tools and Icon Tools.
