Guifx today announced the release of two tools to help designers create rich user interfaces for remote controls, touch panel control systems, kiosks, computer applications, mobile devices, and web sites. Both the Sound Effects library and the Graphics library speed development and improve the aesthetics and usability of a user interface design. The sets are priced as low as $29 and can be downloaded from www.guifx.com.
The Sound FX Pack includes 1200 professionally recorded male and female voices speaking common, and not so common, user interface functions, clicks, beeps, bleeps and other sound effects. Audio feedback enhances and improves the end-user experience and accessibility, especially where the end-user is visually impaired.
Each Graphics Set includes a complete set of graphical user interface elements in various image formats to make them compatible with any application. The original Photoshop source files are included to provide added flexibility.

Guifx today announced the release of Logo Tools software for making fancy favorites buttons for touch panel control systems. The software is in beta release and is currently available as a free download exclusively through Guifx at www.guifx.com.
“Touch panels are a big investment and one of the few pieces of an installation that an end user actually sees and interacts with,” says Morgan Strauss, Guifx Director of Marketing. “Logo Tools is an affordable way for everyone to raise the bar and produce a quality finish.”
Logo Tools comes with a complete collection of network logos. The software’s color blending algorithms give it the capability to combine the included network logos with any style button. The trick is getting a logo with light and dark features to appear clear on both light and dark style buttons, but Logo Tools seems to always produce amazing results. The beta software includes two glossy button styles.
Guifx today announced the release of The Cockpit – a new template for Crestron touch panels. The Cockpit’s modular design and open format keep it highly customizable and configurable, while Hollywood-style, photo-realistic graphics command a “WOW” reaction. The Cockpit is available exclusively through Guifx at www.guifx.com.
“We are always looking to raise the bar in terms of aesthetics, ease of use, and customization,” says Morgan Strauss, Guifx Director of Multimedia. “It’s a 3-dimensional balancing act to get a design to incorporate the best of all three. The Cockpit has not only raised the bar… I think we may even have skipped a notch or two.”
“I knew we had something new and innovative here,” continued Strauss, “but I didn’t realize how great it really is until I demonstrated The Cockpit to a focus group. The energy and excitement in that room was through the roof. They couldn’t wait to get their hands on it!”
Sitting in front of The Cockpit is a “WOW” experience. Your mouth opens wide and your eyes freeze. In a blink, you’re grinning from ear to ear. The interface has flash but is intuitive – and the high quality graphics grab you, draw you in, and keep you fired up.
