Popular Crystal Photo Pane and Tungsten template designs have been expanded to include support for additional Crestron touch panels. Crystal Photo Pane is now available for the Crestron TPMC-17 and TPS-17, and Tungsten is now available for the Crestron TPS-6L.

Both Crystal Photo Pane and Tungsten can be customized with any photo or digital image, like those available in our Background Sets.

Brushed Steel has just received a big update. New pages have been added which include presentation, teleconferencing, and video conferencing — perfect for commercial projects. Check the previews to see all the goodies. The design now also natively supports all Crestron panels including the TPS-6L and TPS-3000(L).

The TPT1210 is an awesome touch-panel and a brilliant showcase for the Adaptation and Meta graphics. We really took advantage of the generous amount of space the TPT1210 has to offer. We’ve updated the Aero Icon Set this morning with several brilliant new icons we had common requests for. Aero now sports a total of 185 icons of superior resolution and quality for use on your touch-panel designs.

If you purchased Aero in the past today’s update is totally free. Access your Orders & Downloads through the My Account section in our store and download the update. Today’s Aero update is also free to users of RTI’s Integration Designer software. Thanks to our licensing agreement with RTI, eligible customers can download the update immediately.

It’s a good day friends. We are proud to announce today an update to our Adaptation template design for the RTI hardware line. Due to popular demand, we’ve worked Adaptation over for RTI’s top selling hand-held touch device the T2-C.

Adaptation looks absolutely gorgeous on the T2-C (See!) and the workflow is everything you would expect from Guifx. This new version rings in at a total of 16 well thought-out pages for you to use and customize in your projects. From standard TV control to more complicated multi-zone functions, everything is here. But that’s not all! Adaptation for the T2-C also includes 9 beautiful backgrounds, blowing the value of this release out of the water. There’s something for everyone, check out these background styles: Digital, Gears, Leaves, Liquid Blue, Liquid Red, Mountain, Parchment, Space, and Sunflower.

Feeling L33T? We’ve got a product update for you! Today we extended the compatibility of Elite, one of our popular Crestron Templates to work on Crestron’s popular 640×480 resolution panels (TPS-3000/3100L, TPS-4000, TPS-6L).

If you passed on Elite before because it didn’t work on the panels mentioned above, check it out again. It’s a great modern looking template and comes with all the functional goodies you’d expect from Guifx. Enjoy!

446 new network logos bring ‘channel teleporting’ to home theaters.

Guifx, the software design firm that creates high quality graphics used in home electronics touch panel controllers hopes to advance ‘channel surfing’ into modern channel teleporting. They have introduced an updated version of one of their free downloadable packages, Network Logos. This graphic set includes the logos of every network on television, XM and Sirius satellite radio stations. There are currently 446 logos included in the set. These network logos can be made into touch activated buttons that function as shortcuts to favorite channels.

The updated logos are delivered at a higher resolution and quality and include many networks that weren’t available in the initial release. “When we first developed this line of graphics, we never would have imagined how channel line-ups would change, and we hadn’t addressed satellite radio at all,” says Joe Peduto, Director of Business Development. “We knew we had to make extensive updates to the logos in the set. We also wanted to serve the set in higher resolution, making the graphics functional for small and large touch panels. They really take home theater controllers to the next level.” The Network Logos set is used in conjunction with Guifx’s free Logo Tools software that transforms network graphics into buttons to be used on touch panels. Both are available as free downloads on the new Guifx website, www.guifx.com.

Guifx also designs templates compatible with RTI, Crestron and AMX touch panel controllers, along with design software Color Tools and Icon Tools.

Logo Tools and Icon Tools have both been updated adding even more frequently requested features. Keep your assets where you want them. You can now browse for both source and destination folders. You can also load and save individual logos and icons through the preview pane — even the default Aero Icon sample.Logo Tools and Icon Tools are both free, so if you’re one of the few that hasn’t tried them yet, now would be a good time. For everyone else, the upgrade is already available in your download manager. Keep those suggestions coming.
